Although Iron Maiden have ruled the world of heavy metal for almost thirty years they are nevertheless without doubt one of the most contemporary and most exciting bands of the 21st century. They are renowned for their usual spiteful character to knock over existing principles.
Starting with the point that they fl y in their own plane (a personalised Boeing 757) around the whole world, they have 70 Million sold albums worldwide without any support of the mainstream radio or TV.
With their Somewhere "Back In Time World Tour 08" they go one better with another possible record breaking tour. The DVD celebrated the concert of Iron Maiden in Porto Alegre, Brazil where next to the band a 60 man crew together with 12 tons of equipment gave their best. Up the Irons!
